  • Thank you for sharing. It does not seem to be easy to learn.

  • It not easy but with practice, it will become easy. :)

  • People with too many cheap things to say, such as ignorant youtube commentators, don't have the backbone, spiritual strength, or even discipline, to respect such things that are held in high esteem.

dogs bark at what they don't know.. and while I love dogs and other animals, the human himself stoops lower when his behavior descends below that of his pets.

I respect you for revealing this. Thank you.

  • The snap sends out the offering! Buddhist need to know the time because if you arrange to meet people at a time it would be rude to be late or a waste of time to be very early. To make offerings - each gesture is an ofering - is a practice of giving - the offerings are also made as actual substances in bowls but during a ritual, hand gesture are used to symbolize them. Even if no subtance is offered just to take the time to learn the gestures and perform them is a training in being generous

  • what's up with the snap

  • so why does a buddhist need to know the time???

    the mind boggles.

  • Whats the purpose?

  • Thank you for sharing this lesson. Tashi Delek !

  • Such a Blessing to come across this video.

Thank You for sharing these beautiful lessons.

    Peace.

  • @ GeshlersNKT: I also study at an NKT centre and our teacher tought us to respect other lineages and/or traditions and their ways of practising dharma. To say that Geshe-la's way is the "only" way doesn't seem very tolerant or even wise. I welcome you to respond.

    Namaste.

  • Beautiful, thank you for sharing this.
