This story is about Howard Beale, who was the news anchorman on UBS TV. In his time, Howard Beale had been a mandarin of television, the grand old man of news, with a HUT rating of 16 and a 28 audience share. In 1969, however, his fortunes began to decline. He fell to a 22 share. The following year, his wife died, and he was left a childless widower with an 8 rating and a 12 share. He became morose and isolated, began to drink heavily, and on September 22, 1975, he was fired, effective in two weeks. The news was broken to him by Max Schumacher, who was the president of the news division at UBS. The two old friends got properly pissed.

  • Democracy is not a good form of government. Democracy is mob rule. It is two wolves & a sheep voting over what is for dinner. The US founding fathers created a Republic - they hated Democracy - they knew it always murders itself when people discover they can vote in politicians to raid the public treasury in their behalf.

A republic is not perfect - it can also be corrupted. But at least ours was designed to serve the rights of the individual - not the collective. Keeping it is the hard part.

  • @KDanagger “A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he ......

  • @KDanagger ... appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear. The traitor is the plague.” Marcus Tullius Cicero

Our greatest enemy is those traitors who claim to be American but aren't. They want this Republic completely destroyed once an for all so the NWO can be installed.
