Andrew McCutchen legs out an infield single during an October 12 Arizona Fall League game between the Phoenix Desert Dogs and the Scottsdale Scorpions. The center fielder was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the first round (11th overall pick) of the 2005 First-Year Player Draft out of Fort Meade High School in Florida. McCutchen hit .258/.327/.383 with 10 home runs, 48 RBI and 17 stolen bases for Double-A Altoona of the Eastern League in 2007. He was later promoted to Triple-A Indianapolis of the International League where he batted .313 in 67 at-bats and swiped four bags.

Wow.. two years ago when he was a minor leaguer i was in left field standing up screaming at him at a mudhens game.. we were all bickerin at him and he kept yelling back saying.. "Ima be a Big soon" we all just laughed. But hes decent now on Pitt.
