This is one of me and my sisters practises for the song The little boy that Santa Claus forgot by Nat King Cole performed by two of my puppets - Davey - the main singer and Jimmy, the crying boy. We are doing this as one of our 10 songs to perform in front of family on Boxing Day 2008. The show should last about 40 minutes. In this video, I am operating Jimmy who is "the little boy that Santa Claus forgot" if you like and my sister is operating Davey who is Nat King Cole if you like. The video isn't perfect as I must stress it is purely a PRACTISE but we hope it brings a smile to your face!

  • What a fine effort is this ! It comes over so very well possibly because we don't have to anticipate a rapid entry and exit by a large cast of performers. As 'King' Cole's outstanding Christmas song is a slow solo performance, it would be natural just to have a solitary puppet doing his bit on stage. Here though our puppeteers have the brilliant idea for the little forgotten boy to be sobbing to himself alongside. Some authentic sounding crying as well ! Excellent - one of your best yet !
