the a gravitational singularity, a point of infinite density theorized to be at the center of black holes. different from the technological singularity, though both deal with the concept of approaching infinity.

That's the way it seems.

Of course, being that it's a singularity, we really don't know what's going to happen once it hits. Maybe something good, maybe something bad. Nanotechnology could be bad, it could result in a grey goo scenario.

He did not do any of his own views. He is stating what Kurzweill predict's but as a biology major (Wilber) He certainly gives in to what the technologist's are saying. Many biologist's are criticizing this Singularity because of how they claim the body is not complicated at all.
