and if you think you havent heard heard it till you have been to the UC its nothing compared to the old place ( Chicago Stadium) with that great big pipe organ (3663 pipes) and wayne messmer singing that used to be epic. look up 1991 US national anthem drowned out in chicago stadium (on youtube) Frank Pellico organist then and now could not hear wayne even tough he was less than a foot away from him at the organ

the national anthem at the UC prolly gets the place crazier then any other opener in the country... the atmosphere here is amazing

Nothing compared to the old grandlady across the street. Thank god when I was a little guy my Uncle's and Dad took me there.

What's the name of the guy singing the anthem on opening night? It's not Patrick Blackwell, unless someone slugged him in the nuts before he went out there.
I can only hope the place gets louder as time passes.
