@leotigerman86. they are variable speed, prolly triac controlled. The upper fan will meet different >< air resistance than the lower, so different speed.

@MrSleepyguy I truly does! If you just de-focus, then you actually "tell" your mind that, rather than making a 360 degree rotation, the blades are moving back and forth - it actually will start to give the illusion of a flapping motion. I remember seeing one of these fans in person, and thinking it was such a unique fan!

Ive always wanted to fill my house with things just like this. Those ddesk nick knacks like neutans cradle, clocks with the mechanisms on the outside. Stuff that is over complicated for the job its doing but still works is the best stuff
