That looks pretty tacky, I wouldn't want to rely on a digital touch screen for something like crossfading, the accuracy of control would be lost massively seeing as there is no mechanical/kinetic feedback like you have with a fader or a pot, no physical edges/barriers to feel which would mean that DJs would have to always look at the screen while performing which would be pretty boring for the audience. You can make something like this easily with pure data, a projector and a camera.
