@mattw2030 that's what me and 3/4 felt with bush in office now you know what it feels like when your party or candidate doesn't win.

Every morning I wake up and this "man" is still president, I know it's going to be a bad day.

racist, schmacist. i've worked in places where the majority of the personnel were black, on a couple of occasions. group think and favoritism exists everywhere, regardless of color. deal with it, i had to. so don't hand me that played out, "it's a black thang, you wouldn't understand" boolshit. you were never a slave and i didn't own any, so get over it

Exactly my point. If someone states that it's the first time in their life that they're proud of their country, it means prior to that first time, they weren't.

aw the michelle and barack are so cute together they have like this wonderful banner and connection together it's an awesome thing to see in a couple

first of all she did not say she was not proud of her country what she said was for the first time in my adult life i'm really proud of my country which indicates she has been proud of her country but never as much as she is today maybe you souldn't listen to rumors and actually listen to the original speech of when she recited that proud speech

Correct!!! Mind their own hair first. For sure they look hell as Bogart magots!!!
The man was his pastor. That was it. Obama is not the apostle of Wright. He is not a fanatical supporter. He was a church goer who spent some time in church activities.
Many Gays go to churches with Pastors and Reverends who shout their group will burn in hell. That doesn't make them racists.
Besides, Wright was not really filled with hate for America. But the man was upset with US activities and holds many views which many people, including Obama, disagree with.

ultrakook, until you walk a day in another's shoes who doesn't look like you and doesn't share the SAME experiences, in many cases, as you are fortuante enough to experience, THEN and ONLY then can you dare judge how a person of color in our country feels. You don't know and you might want to evaluate your intentions b/c they sound racist to me.
