You don't really need to hold it as friction from the cutting head keeps it in position.

Nice video! One question though. As you're turning with the wrench, isn't it difficult to hold the other end of the punch? Especially working with thicker metals?

Like the video. Is there a similar way to punch other shapes? I would like to put small squares or some other polygons in metal, but haven't found many inexpensive techniques.

You set a bad example to your viewers by holding a piece of sheet metal in a bare hand while drilling with the other. You might easily spin the sheet and cut a huge gash in your palm. You should reshoot this video.

Correct. I'll add an annotation note. No way I'm reshooting it. When you do that, the counter goes to ZERO.
