This is my favorite song ever. It's great. Paul simon is a great writer with a message or moral in every song-" A man hears what he wants to hear"- meaning alot of people only pay attention and hear what they want to hear- maybe people cant handle the truth-"Changes upon changes, we are more or less the same", and " He carries the reminders of every glove that laid him down or cut him... till he cried out in his anger and his shame..." meaning that bottling emotions up can lead to worse things
