  • Thanks for posting this! I always thought it strange this character of Steve's was considered a failure. For me it was always spot-on and very funny. I always remembered this show as a terrific send-up of those 70s variety shows such as The Vince Hill Show or Shirley Bassey Show which my Mum and Dad watched. Fantastic!

  • Possibly the best Coogan character ever

  • @SmartarseName04 I often think that, every part he plays is like a completely separate person. He's brilliant!

  • Fantastic ! Can't believe I hadn't heard this yet !

  • this is brilliant on about a 6'00000000000 levels

  • She doesn't age-I view this with mixed feelings, mainly cos, despite the fun performance, it must be the last thing she would sing before her long disappearance away from the scene, as the new album she had started, then completed just after her first child was born a year later, ran into ridiculous and still mysterious legal problems. MCA then locked it away & to this day it remains unheard.

  • Kim Wilde!!! Gorgeous. Brilliant spoof song. Bring back Tony!!!

  • Very funny, shes still sooo Hot.

  • @stonedroses100 That is Alan Partridge.

  • I just love Kim Wilde!

  • His high-pitched yelp at the end always cracks me up, it's the way his eyes roll as he does it. I think people tend to forget that Steve's incredibly versatile not only in his voices but also his facial mannerisms, he never goes for out-and-out gurning, just very subtle things that add so much to his performances.
