Tons of people in the United States continue to be psychologically trapped to gravitate toward a grandfather or father figure who is going to have the answers and take care of kicking butt. Those days are over. The Republican Daddies put us in debt to the tune of billions with communist China and now it's time for the great escape. Lincoln shuddered at the prospect of putting too much power in the hands of industrialists and now we watch them pull strings on the likes of Leiberman and the Republicans while the little guy has no recourse. The Fat Cats own the pharmaceutical and insurance companies and with the help of come good old fashioned propaganda got you believing that they are looking out for your best interests. Well guess what, the fact you still want Frank Sinatra on your radio and John Wayne is wrong headed.

You kids sound like 1972. All your assertions are outdated. your party is broken down and you have become selfish small minded and trivial. The U.S. is in a global market now. We have to cooperate with other countries and we have to cooperate with each other. We have t help each other. Welfare is not bankrupting the country. The little guy is not at fault here. Big business has bought Republicans and they are strangling the little guy closing up the unions and destroying the middle class.

Theres nothing in the Constitution granting government or the states the right to force any citzen to buy any good or service.
We will be taxed, there will be medical rationing, and doctors will quit because all their hard years in medical school will not pay what they feel it is wirth to them. As a result of this, the standard for acceptance and graduation from med school will be set so low incompetence will be normal. Just wait

Speeding Student you think that public libraries, fire departments and public schools are bad socialist ideals? When Ben Franklin or any American has ever thought to pass some kind of solid legislature to help Americans help each other that becomes social-ism? Why don't you call up your local fire department and tell them you don't need them. And home school your kids so they can get in to Harvard. This guy is stupid! People are losing their jobs and those jobs are being sent over seas. Why? Because companies don't have to pay for health care for their low paid workers. All other industrialized nations have health car for all and nobody goes bankrupt. If you are so concerned about the health care bill then why didn't you fix it during the 6 years republicans had the power during the clown bush administration? Yes, my senators in Texas are sure doing me proud. They vote against everything that actually helps people. Their pockets are full of money from lobbyists and they want to make sure no one gets quality health care but themselves. They disgust me.
