  • Both teams are wearing their away colours, I have never seen that before. In fact, in Euro 2004 when they also played each other, both France and England wore their home strip.

  • Bryan Robson ...what a great midfeilder he was .We bumped into Bryan Robson today at West Ham v Barnsley .What a nice fella,he signed autographs and had pic done with fans..

  • Wow the french and england teams have half not changed in the last 20 years have they not, seems like nowdays france play there team filled with guys from there former colonies, what a change up in such a short time

  • England went out of that World cup undefeated. I think England had its best teams in the 80's and 1990, but didn't win a World Cup.

  • Yes, Bilbao, San-Mamez - the stadium of FC Atletic, the team sticking to British style of playing till today and even maintaing English spelling of their club's name.

  • The match took place in Bilbao (Basque Country). It was very hot.

  • what's the story with Mariner?

  • Igirsu! Just make some FRUK service, instead if playing soccer! [APH]

  • No one celebrates with Mariner...

  • I love and miss that era of football, players were much more classy back with more charisma, technical and tactical ability. Nowadays it's all about speed and power.
