In what will sound and feel like a stranger than fiction story, shocked mourners travelling to Kisii for burial of their kin had to cut short their journey after discovering that the body that they were escorting home was missing. A search mounted by the convoy finally traced the coffin with the body at Dagoreti corner, where it had curiously dropped without their knowledge. If you are superstitious, like many people in western Kenya are, then the simple explanation to this bizarre incident is that the dead man was stalling on his impending burial or was it just witchcraft as some claimed?
