The Gator Alley Band performing "Simple Kind of Man" at The Bone's Brew Fest in San Mateo Saturday June 9, 2007. It was another beautiful day, and The Gator Alley Band delivered some more of their tight Lynyrd Skynyrd music. Visit gatoralleyband.com for more information.

Simple Man is my all time favorite too!! Listened to it all the way to Tahoe in my sister vw in '77 in a blizzard all the way to Alpine Meadows... Over and Over and Over! I think it was our only tape!

I LOVE this and Gator Alley Band!!!
They didn't do this song the day that I got to see them .. But I think you might like the video's that I shot last July 3rd at Henderson Automotive on 17th Ave. in Santa Cruz, it was great!! You should check it out!! ...
Needle and the Spoon, Sweet Home Alabama, That Smell, and Freebird.
Thanks, Karri

not bad. not like amazing either, but not bad. solid cover. didn't really hear anybody play any bum notes. the singer gets just slightly off-pitch here and there, but yeah... i like it.

Vocals are good. This is a very good rendition. I don't know what the rest of y'all are talking about. But the song title is "Simple Man."

this band is phenomenal. i have chills. CHILLS. only skynyrd can give me chills. this is absolutely the best i have ever heard next to the band. is there any album of covers that i could buy? this is seriously some of the best work i've heard for a cover band.
