my buddy has 2 s7 10's in an l ported box. 500w rms breaking in and they were pretty loud now he needs 1000w amp on each sub if he really wants to get the most out of them i think they would be as loud as my dd's
-
@callmemrbunnzzz 1000 watts rms for those and yes the can get "loud"
-
@MR2Racer89 LOL what?
-
i had an almani s7 10" with 2000watts 2 it and it was loud as hell
-
@themexicanmule your burning them up and the jbl amp are powerful than what they tell ya so turn it down plus bass songs are not good for subs it does hurt them than u think it does usally when u play bass songs its to test them and tune them not to just listen to all day long :)

thanks for the advice...
i currently have an almani s7 hooked up to a jbl 1200.1 amplifier in my jeep.
I wired it down to 2 ohms and bridged....it beats the shit outta the cab...weird thing though, after about 30 minutes of bass you kinda start smelling the coil, or the sub gets hot and i start to smell the box...either or...idk, any suggestions?

@themexicanmule yeah put them in series the woofers dont work to long in that wiring and you need a box thats at least 2.2ft perwoofer and youll hit 145dbs easy
