There are few words to describe how bad this movie is.

I believe that they made it shitty on purpose. The final kamehameha is done with goku jumping forward while throwing the kamehameha. That is impossible!! They could not come up with a worse adaptation.

The only way they could've made it purposely bad is if they read it in the first place. Clearly, this movie involved no one who had any idea what the show was about. Otherwise, they would either have quit outright or firebombed the sets.

Showing that they are shallow and stupid. Race doesn't matter in casting. There are a million other, better things to get upset about. He's not white or asian; he's an alien cartoon. If you want to be mad about something that superficial, be angry it's live action >.>
