These are my geckos.

First is Zippo, my Crested Gecko. He's in a 10 gallon aquarium with sphagnum moss and coco fiber as substrate. The tank is kept at 70 degrees F, and misted daily to keep up humidity.

Next, is Bloom, my young Tremper Albino Leopard Gecko. She is also kept in a 10 gallon aquarium. She was in a 20long aquarium, but that was too much room for 1 juvie Leo. She is on Repto-carpet, and the heat gradient is set to 90 degrees F, on the hot side of the tank and 80F on the opposite side, with a 5-10 degree drop at night.

Finally my trio of Tokay Geckos. My Females, Fizgig and Shiva, and the male, Cyrus. They are in a Zoo-med 18x19x24inch Terrarium. the substrate is a mix of Sphagnum moss, Coco-Fiber, Fir Chips and Peat Moss. The temp gradient is 90 in the warm side, and 80 in the cool side, with a 95 degree basking spot, and a 10 degree temp drop at night. I keep the humidity at 70% but will be raising it to mid 80's soon for the breeding season.

  • Can a crested and leopard gecko be in the same enclosure

  • @jpog1289 No. It is never smart to house different species in the same area.

  • @HeartbrokenCarebear ZI know i found out its just my friend housed a crested gecko female and leopard gecko female together there whole life since birth so they got along

  • @jpog1289 It's not necessarily a matter of them getting along, it's the fact that they require COMPLETELY different care and habitat requirements. Leopard Geckos require more heat and less humidity, and Crested Geckos require a lot of humidity and not as much heat. The heat the Leopard Gecko require from day to day is actually enough to kill a crested gecko.

  • @mrliambannon Why not, what?

  • About the same, if you wanna handle a lot go with the Leo, the tokays can be mean

  • @HeartbrokenCarebear Which is easyer to care for Tokays or leapord gecko?

  • @BigEuan100 A leopard Gecko. they are not as jumpy as crested geckos. the 1 he has was a baby thats why she was more jumpy. Also leo's care is much easyier then crested geckos. And they are a lot cheaper for the overal price. Just remember if you get a leo sand/calciam sand can kill your leo. some leos are fine on sand and never have any problems but most do and its a big risk!

  • The one crested gecko in the 10 gallon is not sufficient enough! As they are an aborial species and need more height then length!

  • @jpog1289 no, 2 different species and they have MUCH different requirements

  • wierd-the lighter ish tokay you have is the one who likes to bite-howd you get the other 2 to not bite you-in otherwise tame them

  • You have nice geckos!

  • what lizard would you recomend for a beginer a leopard gecko or a crested gecko
