Alexander Godunov, Robert Davi

in The Zone (aka the The Dogfighters (1996). You do have to think twice to tell who's the bad guy here. Actually they both are.
The two actors had somethin' in common: Davi is a kind of former opera singer, Godunov was former ballet dancer. They didn't meet in opera house, but managed to meet on a set twice: first time it was Die Hard.

Alexander Godunov had Charisma & the Sexiest Male Russian Voice On Earth !!! It is easy to see in this video that, as the villian, he is a VERY DANGEROUS man. Robert Davi had better watch out ! Seriously, it is a tragedy that he is gone. I light a candle for him every year in May at about the time of his death. Thanks for this video, Dear...

He took voice and acting lessons for some time in early 80-s... till mid 80-s... actually almost just upon his arrival to US... at legendary Stella Adler' conservatory (now Stella Adler Studio of Acting) and at reputed Julliard School of preforming arts.

But his accent remained thick... though there're people just like you who think it was sexy or at least unusual,.. kind of fresh and exotic.

Davi is terrific here --he is playing with the character ---he is CIA and infiltrating --his guise is a Beer Salesman from the States so he is taunting Godunov in the scene -- who has his suspicions --a shame it was Alexanders last film --- RIP
