  • The function of the blue connector is to allow for removal of the freezer door for delivery & installation through narrow doorways or servicing should the need arise. Hope this helps!

  • It continues to leak even after tightly pushing the tube into the blue connector. It leaks only when you try to fill the glass with water. I turned off the icemaker.
