Julia Kent was born in Vancouver, Canada, and studied cello at Indiana University, Bloomington. She has performed and/or recorded with many artists and ensembles, including Antony and the Johnsons, Burnt Sugar, the Angels of Light, Larsen, Backworld, Jarboe, Devendra Banhart, Angela McCluskey, Leona Naess, Teddy Thompson, Rufus Wainwright. She is taking part of ambient-electro-acoustic trio Blind Cave Salamander. Actually she is taking a tour in Europe.
