Scratchbuilt Oliver 88 Racing Tractor (second try starting)

This was the second attempt at starting the new tractor. It's a scratchbuilt racing tractor with a 350 cubic inch cummins (sorry for the mistake, it has been posted as a detroit and I didn't realize I had made a mistake) turbo-charged engine, ported out to the max and with a modified injector system. The first starts are rough because we later found out the engine was out of time. After the problem was fixed, the engine now produces over 500hp.

no problem, just tellin ya. and yeah, I love this tractor. I havent seen it in a while or talked to the guy, but I'm sure he's winning pulls somewhere!

Is that an Oliver 88 tractor? Or should I say used to be? Those look like Oliver fenders...

Yes it was. we took the front end of the tractor and kept the rear end/transmission.

I'm almost certain it's a 5.9 Cummins. Looks like a P-pump on there to boot!

i know it doesnt sound good. it was out of time. It runs great now that the thing is in time like it's supposed to be.
