King of Fighters XIII Review (GET IT!)

Its an awesome game alright. I gave it a try and I am impressed. I played this fighter more than any other fighter I have this year. People really should give it a try. As for the challenges dude is right about the difficulty.  I take parts of the combos and use them to come up with more manageable combos. There is a lot of freedom in this game.

@willisequalsfun honestly thats the best way to do it. The trials ALWAYS get impossible for me around the 4th one, but there's always parts and little BnB combos you can take and kind of improvise with

i have always wanted to try a king of fighters game but never have

i've got tekken and blazblue, im decent at blazblue but i will not be modest in saying i kick ass in tekken.

i sold streetfigter, it just wasn't my style, but i think this may be my next choice when i buy another fighting game. blazblue has some pretty hard to master combos but it's still tight and responsive and i wanted to ask if king of fighters 13 is just as easy to get into for someone who is only ok at 2d fighters like BB

@gijokef well KoF is very unique in gameplay style, but if you enjoy fast paced fighters with big combos like BB then its right up your alleyway. It's very tight and responsive, so my personal opinon is that it's worth the $50

Well Rising Tackle my ass and call me The Queen of Fighters! I just bought KOFXIII from ebay and after that I came to youtube, logged in and this video bumps me in the face! You're absolutely correct, this game is a must buy. I'm kicking myself for not trying the demo nor buying the game sooner! I definitely deserve a Power Wave for that. I decided to customize my fightstick and give it a new look while waiting for the game to arrive. So SNK and KOFXIII.... Ret's Go!

@htaste hahahah thats mad funny, which system did you get it for? I kind of wish I picked it up for PS3, I only it got it for 360 because I have my fight stick for that system, but since I play KoF much better with a pad I could've gotten it either way.

Online KOF is terrible? The perfect solution would be to stop playing online, but I realize that's not feasible for everyone...

@TeamRivalLive what helps me is doing the trial combo in "reverse". break down parts of the combo, then piece them together when you can execute each part consistently

@TeamRivalLive I got it for 360, simply because I don't have a PS3. I've planned to buy PS3 by the time Dragon's Crown gets released as I'm hyped as a nutter for that game, CAN'T WAIT! *drool*. Anyway, I just noticed that Hinako Shijo is on the background on one of the levels in KOFXIII! I'm so glad to see her, I would definitely want her to be actually playable. And I have to say the game looks gorgeous, I'm so happy SNK still go the 2D sprite route with the KOF.
