Six years ago, Saxby Chambliss used this ad to directly question the courage of U.S. Sen. Max Cleland, a man who had fought for his country in Vietnam, earning the Silver Star and Bronze Star and losing three limbs in the process. Chambliss did not serve, claiming a draft exemption during Vietnam because of a trick knee.

  • @whoo689 It's implied. "Courage" and "patriotism" evoke similar emotive responses. Max Cleland lost three limbs fighting for the country. I don't know if Saxby Chambliss served, but I do know he is one of the biggest scumbags in the Congress.

  • Where in the ad did he ever say Cleland was unpatriotic? I'm not defending the GOP's idiotic foreign policy, but come on!
