"Cascadura," is a musical spoken word poem written and performed by the late Dr. Roi Kwabena, as collected in his Y42K album. The poem was visually animated using mostly archival footage and personal footage from Trinidad. This piece brings into focus the shared, everyday love of all the things that make daily life in Trinidad, the unquenchable desire to return, to revel in the sights, sounds, smells, tastes, and touch of Trinidad. The poem begins with an oft repeated legend, that those who eat the cascadura fish are destined to return to Trinidad. The original is on Vimeo at http://vimeo.com/25659477
