I love this song and I wanted to make another tribute to Martha and The Doctor. Martha being Delilah and The Doctor being the singer. I think they were so close in the last 3 episodes, that's why I used those episodes mostly.

Song: Hey There Delilah - Plain White T's

  • Just because the Doctor wasn't in love with Martha doesn't mean that she wasn't a good companion. She was just as good as any of the others.

Personally I don't think he was actually in love with Rose either. I just think he would have liked to be in love with her but that's just my interpretation of the story and other people are just as entitled to theirs.

    Great video either way.

  • @Francis2061 Yeah :) I never fully thought Martha and him were 'in love' or anything, I just thought they were quite close. I have to say I'm glad you're open minded about other opinions. I got a comment the other day on a video saying "You've missed the point completely! Martha was in love with the Doctor not the other way around! This video just misses the point!"

It was on an AU video where I was literally just saying "What if it were the other way around" Thanks for being open minded :) xxx

  • Where are the clips from 2:22 to 2:35 from. I don't remember them at all.

  • Last of the timelords, when they are changing time...

  • It's only a fan video :P LOL

I know he didn't love her as much as Rose, but she did him good (as said in Partners In Crime)

  • It took me a full season to like, let alone, get used to both Rose and Martha (Donna was a shoe-in, loved her instantly).

But between the two, it was Martha who stole my heart. Spunky-little spit-fire with the all that heart and no one to give it to.

I loved that....and I loved her last scene especially, because it rang true to me....and man, I totally got what she was saying and what she'd been through.

So, for all us Martha fans, here's this...

    Dr. Martha *spit-fire* Jones FTW!

  • god- MARTHA hasnrt helped the doc any? are you kidding? he'd be dead without her? what did she ever do wrong to anyone? i love both rose and martha the same, but every1 seems to be getting at martha all the time - she has saved the doc endless times!!!!

  • @zcatz No problem. Some people get so petty about things like that. Usually it's the whole 'my Doctor's better than your Doctor' argument which I'm sick to the back teeth of now. They're all good. They all add to the story. People should just enjoy it.

  • Martha Didn't Take Rose's Place.

    The Doctor Chose Her.

  • personally, for me, Martha didn't take Rose's place, she was meant to be there. Martha was the Doctor's best companion and when she left him and said goodbye it was really sad but she came in for four episodes in Donna's series so i was fine with that. I love Martha.

  • she didn't take rose's place, the doctor chose her.

  • wonderful! the doc is great! ♥
