My Friend Zoe

This is a documentary about a disabled girl and her family. It focuses on her sense of joy in the simplest things and the love she shares with her family, friends, and dedicated teachers. It is an upbeat approach to her bittersweet story, this film has been awarded first prize in the Jersey Filmmakers of Tomorrow Film Festival, sponsored by the Fort Lee Film Commission and first prize in the The National Student Television Award for Excellence in the New York Chapter.

that is an awsome video i have a special needs sister to they r the most awsome ppl to be around there fun and out going and actually smarter than u think they r very luvable and awsome ppl i love my sister we adopted her from indiana and im glad we have her my sister is 14 and there r always ppl making fun of her and it makes me feel bad for her bc she dosent understand the fact that ppl r making fun of her your daughter is beautiful!! and i bet she is very fun to be around!!

Thank you so much for opening up about ur daughter, As the parent of a son with disabilities I know how difficult it can be at times, and how much strain it can add to a relationship. Thank you both for loving this special child so many parents see these kids as a burden and place them in homes. Please remember to make her as independant as possible.
