Wow. That is not terribly impressive. I was thinking of waxing, but now I'm thinking of laying down a coat of gloss urethane instead.

The client was very happy with the floor and in my opinion it looks fantastic.
This is not a restoration, it doesn't require sanding and re dressing, its maintenance on an existing waxed floor.
I agree a wax floor has a sublter sheen than the high gloss lacqure varnished floor, however once that varnish has been scratched and marked all you can do is sand it back an re varnish, waxed floors can be buffed and re waxed in less than a day and at a fraction of the cost.
