Trying out the Zenair CH750 powered by the UL260i engine from ULPOWER.
This is a four-cylinder, air-cooled, direct drive aircraft engine: 97 hp @ 3300 rpm / 82 hp @ 2800 rpm. Installed weight is just 160 lbs. This is a modern engine with fully electronic ignition and multipoint fuel injection (FADEC) system.
On the panel, there's a Stratomaster Enigma multi-function display (glass panel) from MGL Avionics, as well as their COM radio. The fiberglass engine cowl is a prototype. Design work on a sleek cowl has been completed, according to Gus.
@Tjita1 That's the engine that would be my 1st choice for a CH750 (which is one of my top 2 favorite LSAs!) as well. I would also like to see a FWF kit for the UL260 & the Sonex (my other top 2 LSA)!!!

I'm curious how it would perform with the ul350i, but there isn't a single video on youtube with that engine.

Would love a factory FWF kit for the 701. Having said that, would love to know how the fuel consumption compares to the Rotax 912 (CH 701) and Continental O-200 (CH 750) at the same cruise speeds. With fuel injection I assume a great improvement but I've yet to see real world figures, etc. Some coverage in the aviation press would be welcomed but I'm surprised how little this exciting new engine is mentioned. Lighter, same power, more economical, cheaper... it all sounds too good to be true!
