Reportage sur Werner Gunthor suivi tout du long d'une saison.
Werner Günthör (né le 11 juillet 1961 à Uttwil) est un lanceur de poids suisse qui fut triple champion du monde de la discipline (1987, 1991, 1993).
En 1987, il établit le record du monde en salle avec un lancer à 22,26 mètres. Le 23 août 1988 à Berne, il lance le poids à 22.75 mètres, soit la 5e performance mondiale de tous les temps.
Son entraineur était Jean-Pierre Egger, lui-même un spécialiste renommé dans cette discipline.

En 1985, a été nommé «Entraîneur de l'année» par l'Association des entraîneurs
d'élite de l'Association olympique suisse.
Directeur de séminaires pour cadres d'entreprises, notamment sur le thème
de la performance en sport et en entreprise.

Aaaah...Wernter Gunthor, one of the great heros of the mullet. Right up there with McGyver, but stronger.
