This video shows the Sustainable Harvest offices at origin in action, including a visit to Finca El Valle by over 200 growers and coffee buyers, during the event, Let's Talk Coffee 2007. This is just one of several farmer training programs offered by the non profit branches in Latin America and Africa by Sustainable Harvest Coffee Importers. The fees earned from importing coffee are reinvested by Sustainable Harvest into programs to help farmer suppliers talk about how to improve the quality of coffee and the quality of life of those involved in its production. It also shows a program which brings South-South training in coffee, where they bring farmers together from different coffee countries to share ideas, business information, and training models. The result is a more consistent supply of high quality coffee, and an empowered farmer who knows the roaster's needs transparently and directly.
