2003. When Bush decided to drop bombs over Baghdad like an over-zealous Michael Bay, there was a mass demonstration in the streets of San Francisco. We decided that this would be a great opportunity to at the very least get some interesting footage. We ended up cobbling together a make-shift pitch for a film about "stringers"- freelance videographers that run around during hostile situations and record those events to sell to various news outlets. It was a random idea that we thought would make an interesting film/tv series and this was one of the few ways we could visualize the scope of it by not spending a dime.
