I received 42 3x2 solar cells today. This is enough to construct a decent sized panel of around 30 watts. The fun part will be soldering all 42 in series. I know I say 60 amps in the video ( or close to it) but that was assuming I wire it all in series/parallel....and I doubt ill do it...wouldnt that be 1260 watts?
Sorry buddy, this is miss info on everything. You should redo this video !

Aren't Blue side negative and the back side positive?

poss + is on the bottom of the cell, and neg is on the top of the cell, check out my web site
at solarcells101 for solar cells and soldering instructions.

.5V @ 1.4A * 24 in series = 12V *1.4A = 16.8W
Voltages add in series and current adds in parallel.
You would have to parallel 43 strands of 24 to get 12V * 60.2A = 722.4W. Of course it's not that easy as you'd need blocking diodes to prevent "shaded" cells from drawing current.

Try eBay for loose cells....
