Reveillon, as locals refer to New Year's Eve, is Rio's second highest season. The festivities that happen at Copacabana Beach attract over 2 million people from all over the world every year. In addition to the fireworks festival that starts at midnight, there are free live music shows at stages set by by the city on the sand. Wear white for good luck, and join the fun! Sorry for the shaky images, but it's not that easy standing still with millions of people moving around you :) Video courtesy of www.ipanema.com!
