It took me years to end up in the realm of Cam, Krush, and the like. Like the top comment said.. it is for the conditioned ear which seeks a more introspective angle as we get older. Melodic pianos and brass elements merely compliment the balances of snares and kicks which break in and out of existance as if reminding us that this beat is as much a part of our lives as breathing. How often to I find myself making a hip hop/dnb snare pattern between my teeth everyday... I love this music.
