Etude 17, "Tempo di Polacca in E minor" from "Thirty Etudes for the String Bass" by Franz Simandl. Played on electric bass. I'm playing a Peavey Fury II through an Ampeg BA-115

  • The problem with the electric bass, especially with round wound strings, is that the notes ring waaay to long. Your technique is fine but ultimately, I would love to hear this on the upright. Nice job, though!

  • @CookyNChoco I'm playing this for my audition too! I've got the first part done slowly very slowly

  • There's Music Minus One piano accompaniment play along cd available for this as well as the other studies. I've been practicing them with the piano accompaniment, which has been fun. Ever try it?

  • that turtle back there wants to go home

  • Maybe more metronome practice. Good try nevertheless.
