What really sets us apart from our cousins? Our wonderful memory?

No, not that, either.

This video illustrates that our ape cousins far exceed us in short term memory recall skills. A chimp is shown memorizing numbers with remarkable accuracy at lightning speed.

An amazing bit of footage from the National Geographic documentary "Human Ape".

  • @Eternal1Truth Why are you so hateful?

  • @tehinfidel Lol, well sorry, i wasn't looking at the humans.

  • @GhostForces77

    DUMBASS.

  • the chimp dosnt recognize the objects as numbers, it just sees objects that he recognizes as images which is easier to commit to short term memory, than if you recognize them as a sequential set of data. just my dumb human theory, but it makes some sense, try a human with the same experiment only elementary and unfamiliar objects, and of course some practice that would probably show comparable results.

  • remembering like a boss!

  • god
