i was there from 1992-1996. best time of my life. kirby lane cafe. planet k. les amie. the frog on the wall "hi how are you ? the frats on lean and 24th. good eats. im glad i saw the last of the beatnik crowd of flakes. gone forever. like tears in the rain. even the airports gone.

Ah, I remember the "original" Pipes Plus and the University Co-op back when it really was a cooperative. *sigh* I miss you Austin!

That was great. It's really sad how quickly The Drag is changing. I've seen places that have shut down and been replaced and shut down and been replaced again since I was a freshman at UT in 2003. I can only imagine how disconcerting it feels for someone who's been here for 10 or 20+ years.

Brooks is right. Being happy is a state of mind. I stop in the Hole sometimes to try and change my state of mind to happy, and it usually works.

No that is Mark, he sells leather products on the Drag, although I haven't seen him there in a long time.
