@68lincoln Actually Wayne is quite an acomplished musician and comedian. Monty Hall may have been professional, but was extremely boring to watch. Then again its subjective opinion. Wayne has taken the show to great sucess in the 21st century, and Hall admires Bradys work on LMAD was actually partly responsibe for choosing him. So much for Brady being a 'Moron'

@MrMustanguy That's wonderful that you still have the bedroom set that your mom won on Let's Make A Deal in the sensational 1970s. You might try contacting Game Show Network and even try contacting Monty Hall's website. It would be helpful to tell them the date of the show and whether it was the daytime or prime time version. Keep us posted!

Does anyone know where you can get information on these old early 70s Lets make a deal clips? My mother won my bedroom set (which I still have). Would love to show her the video..

@RedPortiaOne Wayne Brady is a moron and does not have even half the class and professionalism of Monty Hall. The show was better in the 1960s and 70s.

@SuperGamer7 You are entitled to your opinion but the longevity and quality of materials used in today's appliances will never outlast appliances that were made of better materials and made in the USA. The average American made appliance made in 1970 had a 30 year average life. A Chinese made appliance today has barely a 10 year life. And if you buy Chinese made products you are helping to take away more American manufacturing jobs. I buy strictly American even if it costs more money. USA first!

@68lincoln I disagree, the new appliances of today (Made in the USA, or elsewhere) work WONDERS! Oh, and now we have "Smart appliances" that utilize wireless connections for easier handling.
Cars are better, too, and MUCH safer! Domestic and foreign, strong suits all around!

"Sirloin boogers"?

I watched Let's Make A Deal from 1968 to 1977. The original members of the cast Monty Hall, Jay Stewart and Carol Merrill were the best. The cars and the appliances were better in the 1960s and 70s (all made in the USA, not the cheap junky appliances of today made in China). I would not watch the new version of Let's Make A Deal in 2011. I love the original. Nice to see them on Youtube.

I understand Monty didn't really want the Super Deal, that it was forced upon him by the network.

I have never seen a fridge with a built-in tape player, until today. Ever in my lifetime.
