The scam continues! The creeps in Trenton and the public in general do not understand that Firefighters and Police Officers pay for their benefits during their entire careers. If Trenton had not stolen 5 billion dollars from the pension funds, there would not be a problem in the pension funds. The bully who leads Trenton and the traitor Senate President are to blame.

These attacks on the country's public safety workers and teachers will doom the Republicans in 2012 and 2014. We will follow any votes at state and federal levels and replace those that attack us.

Great video getting the truth out!
This is a similiar story for the teachers pension. The state did not put a dime in for 13/16 years, actually took some out (should be against the law!!!) and now blame the teachers for the problems.

It's simply amazing that the state allowed the towns to not pay their share of contirbutions into the pensions and Christie Whitman borrowed our pension money and never paid it back. Now they all have the nerve to act as if the police and firemen had done something wrong becuase they are suddenly discovering the shortfall and act as if they don't know how this happen. Once again, as if the police and firemen did something wrong. These are the people we vote into office. Amazing. Simply amazing

There are 3 major pension systems in NJ,; Teachers, PERS and PFRS. PFRS is for cops and firemen and it is least mentioned in the papers these days because it is not draining the system.
