FEVER DREAM THEATER is an animated series based on the bad dreams of Michael W. Dean. Staring Michael W. Dean and a whole bunch of monsters, human and otherwise.

Drawing, sound effects and editing: Scott Ligon.

Writing and voices: Michael W. Dean and Debra Jean Dean. Music: Michael W. Dean.

This cartoon pilot was created in wide-screen high-def. We have two more episodes scripted, and ideas for many more. Someone should hire us to make the rest of them. (We would just go do it anyway, but they take FOREVER to do.)

Drawing, sound effects and editing: Scott Ligon.
Writing and voices: Michael W. Dean and Debra Jean Dean. Music: Michael W. Dean.

  • Petrucci will not be happy.

  • Send him over. We'll have coffee and chat about it.

  • old hippie rock? bleah.

  • Lol... I've never heard anyone call Dream Theater "old hippie rock" o.o I've heard people call them Metal, though. But "progressive" Metal/Rock is more accurate. You know, that band where every member of the band is the best at their instrument on the planet?

  • Well, I love old Genesis and Yes. And Rush. I've listened to Dream Theater, they didn't really do it for me. I also don't love Alan Holdsworth solo or any number of other 70s/80s musos. What's that line? "Too many notes for the royal ear." lol....

I just used the term "old hippie rock" to discourage the people who are slamming me for using the term "Dream Theater." It's a very old term that predates the band by a century or two.

  • I wasn't trying to "glom onto" the the popularity of the band Dream Theater by using the name (as some have accused me of here).

I was using the phrase in the original intent....this video is the first in a series of me and a friend animating stories that come from dreams I've had. I'm using the term "Dream Theater" in the generic. If anyone gets confused, not my problem. It's a common term that has uses outside the band.

  • I have no fucking clue what I just watched. But I loved it! 5 stars!

  • there used to be an improv theater in chicago where the audience members would tell the actors a dream they had and the crew would act it out

with that being said... i too thought this was a video about dream theater

  • i was expecting a dream theater video

  • Lol don't be so rude with him cause he wrote Dream Theater... I thought that was a DT video too but the real video isn't that bad after all xD

Actually dream theater isn't just the name of a band, it's a term..

  • i don't get how you think dream theater is too many notes and rush isn't. -_-
