Paris 26 June 2008 -- When you see a man in Yohji Yamamoto clothes, you inevitably think of the designer. The same strange appearance, the same look. The models, all of a certain age and all young professionals, such as writer Marc Chodolenko and artist Steve McQueen, all modeled loose and intricately detailed outfits. One outfit had panels of colours, another was finished with blue lace at the back, whilst at the end pairs of scissors and white hands, in wool, sewn on the front and back of jackets, seemingly put there by accident delivered a message of peace and love. Yohji Yamamoto waved at his friends on the catwalk, who appeared to be an old group of friends who wound up on the podium. An emotive moment charged with talent and poetry.
the video quality makes it really difficult to see the beautiful craftsmanship. :(
