This is an animation of the James-Wardrope 3-cylinder single-action radial steam engine with piston-type steam valves actuated from the adjacent main pistons. This steam engine is unique in that it does not require the standard eccentrics to operate the steam valves.
The source of this engine is an engraving featured in an old public domain book by Joshua Rose.

Wonderful animation, a lot of work I bet, looks great. And an interesting engine design I've not yet seen. Thanks.
