Magna Carta 2: Xbox 360.

Hello everybody! I've decided to record my play through of Magna Carta 2, so that others may follow along. I am playing with chests, quests, and achievements in mind, and am hoping for 100% completion.

***STORYLINE ADVANCE***
Once finished with quests, head back to Abazet Town, where you will get some dialogue at the gate. To advance the story, we'll be going to General Headquarters later.

-----

Before you go back to town, there's some people gathered around what looks like a rink. You can play a mini game there, "Whack-a-Phong."
The point of this game, of course, is to whack Phongs.
Using Argo, a timer will start, and you have 40 seconds to whack 20 Phongs.
If you can successfully whack 20, you get the Belt of Experience as a prize.
This is an excellent accessory. It will allow the character that has it equipped to gain 10% more experience.
It's awesome if you want to level up a weaker character!

Next go to Abazet. We can explore the whole city, woo hoo!
Go up to the Market Square to be able to explore some more of the city.
Once there, find the Old Man for another quest.

-----

Quest #15: An Old Man's Request
Where: Abazet
Who: Old Man
How: Accept it now, and you'll be able to finish it when we get to Oldfox Canyon. When you get there, look for a red check mark. His son will be under attack by enemy soldiers. Save him to deliver the letter. If the son dies, you fail.
Reward: 800 XP, Necklace of Life, Belt of Experience

-----

After that, you can shop to your heart's content.
In the same area where the old man was, there's a Kamond Merchant (marked by a purple diamond on the map).
He sells Kamonds - which are used to Enhance your weapons. (More on this later).
You can also craft things from recipes you've received in the game.

Behind the Kamond merchant, there's a chest. Open it for [Shaved Ice x3].

Head to the Southern General HQ, and find Alex's room.
In there is a chest containing [1000SID].

Your next stop is the Merchant's Guild.
When you come in, you'll see stairs in front of you, and two paths.
Take the left path, and at the very end there's a chest containing [Stamina LV 1 Kamond].
To the left of that chest is some stairs, take the first flight up for another chest. This one has [Stamina Recovery LV 1 Kamond], and [Stamina LV 1 Kamond].
Once again, there is another 2 flight of stairs to the left of that chest.
And once again.. there's another chest. You'll find [400SID] in this chest.

Backtrack and head into the Merchant's Guild HQ. Talk to Schnieder at the desk to finish the quest for rescuing the hostage. Talk to Yi-en and she will give you your reward.
Before you leave, take the chest by the doorway that contains [200SID].

If you so choose, you can take the winding staircase up. There's another Kamond merchant up here.
But she sells rarer Kamonds. They will offer you better enhancements - but they are much more expensive.
Spend wisely!

If you'd like to buy some weapons, take the right path (rather then the left that you took upon arrival).
There's a weapons dealer, with all new weapons for each character.
Were introduced to weapon types, and it's left up to you which weapon type you'd like for each character.

-----

Juto:
1 Handed Sword
2 Handed Sword

Zephie:

  • can anyone give an objective opinion about this game is it any good fanboys/girls need not apply, i wasn't a fan of star ocean or infinite undiscovery would this be better than thoses? only decent RPG this generation was lost odyssey so its been a while since i played good jrpg

  • @xenojobeia I own/have played all 4 of those games. Infinite Undiscovery sucked, I agree. With this game at least you can read the damn text. >.< It depends on what you're looking for in a game, I have a hard time telling people "this is worth playing" because I don't know what you look for. The map is a little dull.. the music is great, story line is great.. the game's moderately challenging.

  • @ch0colatemilk im looking for a rpg with memorable characters and an engaging storyline that will keep me hooked til the end, fun battle system would be good too.

  • @xenojobeia I disliked the battle system.. but it is unique to say the very least. I loved the story... it never really stopped at any point, and it kept me guessing constantly and intrigued me. I don't know if I'd say the characters are... memorable, but they are certainly all thought out pretty well/personality's executed well. Nothing wrong with them, but I have seen better.

  • hello where can i find a 2h hand sword??

  • @MrUrmomsmom Weapon shops sell them. You sometimes also get them dropped by bosses, but it's easiest just to buy them. There's weapon stores in almost every city you visit, you just have to look out for them on the mini map.

  • @ch0colatemilk ok m8 thanks for your help

  • @pixieprincess09 You have to talk to the old man BEFORE you leave for Oldfox Canyon. This is a string of sidequests, so if you miss the first step then you can't get the rest of the quests.

  • i think i messed up with quest 15 some how i think i missed the guy at oldfox place and i cant fine the old man anymore, does that mean the quest is gone for good???

  • @WRECKT0M Oh trust me. It gets better. : D
