Siuil Means Walk.
It's walk walk walk my love.
There is another version by Celtic Woman and the translation they use i beleive says Go in translations. But my aunt says it means Walk.
-
I got this off the translator and i'm not sure if it's accurate but if it's not then please do translate it.
"Walk
Walk
Walk resolutions
Walk to benefit
And walking in quiet
Walk to door and
I escaped"

People "became" Catholic because their choice was change or die. But they kept alive many of their pagan customs and a lot of their culture, including some old songs. And yes, many who sang these had no idea of their origins and meanings - but some did know!

Go go go my love
Go quietly and peacefully
Go to the door and flee with me
And may you go safely my dear
