Im not a Pro but shouldnt you do that whole thing a glass-tank and finally fill it with water?
-
So is it because i used playsand in my tanks that my plants grow so slowly and never spread?

Would Doing it in a smaller Tank (5 Gallons) Make it harder to maintain in the long run?
-
You can come to my place, I don´t send them. I am from Belgium.

@Axolotlvriend Send me some plants.

Is someone paying 40 dollars for that amount of plants? I can have that and even a lot more for free, Big Anubias barteri, big javafern, Echinodorus bleheri, Anubias barteri varia nana, Vallisneria americana, Vallisneria neotropicalis... all for free.

hey dustin, i was wondering if you would be able to send me those same plants? are those hard to maintain? I'm trying to start a small planted tank. are those good for beginners?

@Bazil1869 thanks
Hey man,
So i'm new to the whole idea of aquascaping and this question might sound stupid but how the hell do you get the plants to stay on the large rock/drift wood?
Thanks!

@Drakogate tie them with black tread, only annubias and java fern don't need to be rooted

Would this work for my 120 gallon?
And how much does the dirt cost?
JamieT96 1 year ago
@JamieT96 that would work like a charm. I have never done it but i could mix you up a bag-o dirt for a 120. All of the plants you see there would make a 120 look epic. though a 120 you might want some larger driftwood...

@Dustinsfishtanks That would be great. There may be a problem and that is that I live in the UK.
