This is only in the states

Yeah, maybe they should have. But I was specifically talking about the morality of two young adults consenting to being sexual with one another and the act of a family being torn apart by an innocent young person being thrown into jail. I don't understand how someone can find that less morally corrupt than two humans engaging in sex, which other than the conviction brought them nothing but joy, AKA a child.

Well maybe her boyfriend should have thought about that before he had sex with an underage girl

I wont argue about pro-life pro-choice, I respect both sides. I do, however, have something to say about PPH and the 'cover up' or statutory rape cases. I have a long time friend, who when she was fifteen got pregnant and her boyfriend, 20 at the time, was thrown in jail and locked away for four years (the couple is married now). But for four years their lives were hell, and their son didn't even get to meet his father until he was 3. Tell me who has the moral up hand there? The state? NO WAY.
