Don't worry too much, I think that since GACKT is a perfectionist, he won't let anything bad happen to his voice. I myself think that his new tone of voice is great for his new songs like Flower, Jesus, Lost Angels. If he was still with his old voice, he couldn't sing as powerful and impressive as that he does. And his wide vocal range nowadays is a big success for him. I love how his voice has changed like that!

miyavi is just less conventional. he's gone through many different styles. i wouldn't say he is over rated, it's just that allot of people think his music is good. Both miyavi and Sugizo are very talented, just in different ways. In fact, the whole band is. They are all talented, and all in more than one instrument. Unlike allot of musicians, each member of S.K.I.N have reasons for the hight of their careers.

@Lu15at No they don't. All three of these people are older, much older, than Miyavi and he looks up to them, and he knows he's not as good. I can say people overrate Gackt. But in truth they don't as well. Sugizo and Yoshiki are amazing though. :P But I kind of think Yoshiki's overrated. But I love them all.

@XHUBIUX No they don't. If that is all you see, then you're not getting his MESSAGE. Of course Sugizo would own him because Sugizo has more experience. Miyavi looks up to him anyway. It's NOT hip hop. It's a genre fusion that he created on his own. His slap guitar style is mixed with shamisen techniques. You are very narrow minded. And you don't seem to be very smart to look up what he is meaning by this. I guess people like you just love to keep walls of prejudice up...

They're talented. But Miyavi was very young here compared to them. All of them were his idols, he looked up to them. He wasn't as good as them, he knew that. He said that he could learn a lot from them. They all contributed equally, and I really love how they had Gackt and Yoshiki on piano, and Sugizo on violin, and Miyavi on shamisen. Miyavi really sees Gackt as an older brother though, he calls him "Gaku-nii" so cute. Miyavi isn't overrated, he's actually underrated. So are a lot of his songs.
