Railfanning the ATR (My HO Scale Layout) High & Wide Special 052!! MUST SEE!

HERE'S THE FIRST EVER Railfanning video from the ATR (A-Train Railroad)! This is my HO Scale Layout that I've been working on for the past couple of months. This is just the start of it with lots of expanding plans for later. Today's Railfanning trip brings a Nice Surprise with it. ATR 052 (A High & Wide Special) is scheduled to run today and we were lucky enough to capture it from it Fueling up and Leaving the ATR Yard to some various locations along the ATR where we caught this special move in action! Just sit back, relax, and enjoy the show!

The axle count would be more like 12.

Lead Loco: 6 axles+

2nd Unit : 6 axles+

SOU Flat Car: 4 axles+

TTX HD Flat Car: 8 axles+

NS Caboose: 4 axles=

28 Axles total....

what really counts are powered axles and tonnage if u know wat i mean.

Yea but in reality DDs count every axle...powered or not...that's what I was going by...

I guess. depends on era and place in coal country when getting a train over a grade what matters is load or empty tonnage and powered axles(especially for helpers) wats a dd
